What is it?
CodeCart is an application that will allow
a user to keep a running “shopping list”
of items that they may need.
Why is it useful?
People are forgetful! Think about how
many times you thought “I’ll have to
write it down” about the tasty new item
you tried or great working cleaning
item… Then a week later you try to remember what it was and you just
can’t do it.
CodeCart uses a barcode scanner to implement the grocery list. No
more writing it down! It will make sure it’s the exact item you want?!
That’s what barcodes are for!
How do I use this?!
- Scan each and every item you want to purchase in the distant or near
future
Go shopping
While you shop, read the list and re-scan items you purchase
(This will actually remove them from the list if you so choose)
- If you want to purchase them again, repeat the process!
What do I need for this wonderful app?!
An Android phone. Sorry all other users!
Also can be synced to Pebble Smart-Watch! Notifications can be synced
to display name and barcode of item that was added or removed!
