CodeAlpha_AIChatbot

CodeAlpha_AIChatbot is a desktop-based AI chatbot application developed using Java Swing, JDBC, and MySQL as part of my CodeAlpha internship.

💡 Inspiration

I wanted to build a desktop application that combines conversational interaction with practical software development concepts such as user authentication, database management, and chat history. This project gave me an opportunity to turn these concepts into a functional application.

🛠️ How I Built It

The application was developed in Java using Java Swing for the graphical user interface. JDBC was used to connect the application with MySQL, allowing user accounts and chat history to be stored and managed through a database.

🚧 Challenges

One of the main challenges was integrating the graphical interface with the database while keeping user authentication and chat history working smoothly. Debugging JDBC connections and managing data between the UI and MySQL helped me improve my problem-solving and debugging skills.

🚀 Future Improvements

Some features I would like to explore in future versions include:

• Better AI response generation
• Voice-based interaction
• Improved conversation management
• More customization options
• Enhanced security and authentication
