Just released a major update to CodeWeaver AI, my solo project aimed at simplifying DevSecOps with AI.
This release includes:
- Integration with Google Cloud’s Gemini API (using gemini-2.5-flash-preview-04-17) for smart code understanding, suggestions, and direct file edits.
- Enhanced GitLab integration: connect with your repo, push active files, and auto-generate .gitlab-ci.yml based on project context.
- Full multi-file project support with a new Project panel, file explorer, and directory creation from plain text.
- AI-powered file operations: create or update files like README.md or utils.py through chat commands.
- In-app preview for basic HTML files; intelligent handling for frameworks like React or Vue.
- Cleaner, project-focused UI with dark mode by default.
This update brings CodeWeaver AI closer to being a competent AI coding assistant that fits right into your DevSecOps workflow.
