Inspiration

I decided to create a website because I wanted to learn how to use HTML and CSS. The website is intended for young programmers to meet others who are aspiring to become computer programmers and help each other along the way. Whether you have years of experience or none at all, you can always learn more languages, and teach others as well.

What it does

The website displays a bunch of user-profiles, that programmers can explore and find people who are in the same area, around the same age, or learning the same language. They can then click the profiles, to learn a little more about them and get in contact with them.

How I built it

I built this website using HTML and CSS, on visual studio code.

Challenges I ran into

I had trouble uploading the profile pictures at first. I was unsure of how to do it, but after a while, I figured it out. I also had trouble positioning all the elements on the website. It took a lot of trial and error for me to get the parts to be where I wanted them.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud that I was able to create a website. The mechanics on it were complicated to implement, and it took a lot of hard work and adjusting to make sure it looked and worked correctly.

What I learned

I learned how to use HTML and CSS. This was my first time using it, and I learned a lot about how websites are made using it, in just two days.
