Solutions to the Rubbish Problem

Our project is about how trash harms the environment and proposes solutions to solve this problem.

Inspiration

We were inspired by social and environmental factors that are being harmed by waste.

What it does

Our website gives background information about pollution. Our solution implements AI in robots to identify and clean up trash in neighborhoods and the ocean. The robots are coded to identify and pick up certain materials, such as metal or plastic. This makes it easier to recycle trash. The robots can also go house to house collecting compost, which they then transfer to farmlands as fertilizer.

How we built it

We used HTML/CSS to make the website. We used JavaScript for the quiz that we inserted into the HTML code.

Challenges we ran into

We had to figure out how to make the website using HTML/CSS because we didn't have any prior experience in the language.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the website, especially the quiz. We are also proud of our research and presentation.

What we learned

We learned about HTML/CSS and learned more about the waste problem across the globe.

What's next for Solutions to the Rubbish Problem

We will start researching more about the robots, which will generate interest for AI and the safe disposal of waste.
