Inspiration

Coconut Create was born from a desire to simplify the way content creators manage and transform their media assets. As a content creator myself, I often found it frustrating to juggle raw photos, videos, AI tools, and storage systems across multiple platforms. I wanted to build a unified space where creators could store, organize, and effortlessly generate professional content—all in one place. This project is inspired by that real need for streamlined, creator-first solutions that blend media management with the power of AI.

What it does

Coconut Create is a web application that helps content creators efficiently manage their media libraries and generate AI-powered content directly within the platform. It features:

  • User authentication and profile management
  • Secure media upload with drag-and-drop support
  • Smart media library with advanced filtering, batch tagging, and bulk operations
  • AI-powered content generation for both images and videos
  • AI-assisted tagging and intelligent tag suggestions
  • Automated usage tracking and subscription management via Stripe
  • Seamless media storage and function management using Supabase

The platform gives creators a faster, easier way to move from raw assets to ready-to-publish, AI-enhanced content.

How we built it

Coconut Create was fully built on bolt.new, which allowed us to rapidly develop and deploy the application with a beautiful, production-grade experience.

Key tools and platforms used:

  • Google’s new Jules agent: We used it to review and correct some of our TypeScript and backend function code, accelerating our debugging and improving code quality.
  • Supabase: Integrated natively for authentication, database management, file storage, and serverless function handling, making it seamless to build secure, multi-tenant features.
  • GitHub Native Integration (via Bolt): Enabled version control, smooth collaboration, and continuous deployment within the Bolt environment.
  • Stripe Integration: Stripe was integrated directly within Bolt for subscription management and billing, ensuring a quick and hassle-free setup.
  • Make.com and n8n: Used to automate backend workflows, AI tagging, and content generation pipelines without overcomplicating our architecture.
  • ElevenLabs: Prioritized as a best-in-class solution for AI-generated voice and media enhancements.

We intentionally prioritized existing, powerful solutions like Supabase, ElevenLabs, Make.com, and n8n to focus our development time on creating a great user experience instead of reinventing backend systems.

Challenges we ran into

Some of the key challenges included:

  • Fine-tuning Supabase’s Row Level Security to ensure airtight multi-tenant authentication and asset protection
  • Refining the tag suggestion system to exclude duplicate and irrelevant tags
  • Balancing complex AI workflows and storage dependencies with a lightweight, intuitive frontend
  • Managing serverless Stripe webhook configurations without conflicts
  • Implementing media upload workflows that seamlessly connected DigitalOcean Spaces via Supabase Edge Functions
  • Ensuring all integrations (Stripe, GitHub, Supabase) stayed clean and manageable within the Bolt.new ecosystem

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Building a fully functional, polished multi-tenant application from scratch on Bolt.new
  • Successfully integrating Stripe billing, Supabase functions, and native GitHub versioning without friction
  • Leveraging Google’s Jules agent to improve and correct code efficiently
  • Creating a smooth, creator-centric workflow from raw upload to AI-enhanced asset generation
  • Deploying a live, production-ready platform with advanced media management and real-time usage tracking
  • Efficiently automating AI tasks with Make.com and n8n to keep the system lean and scalable

What we learned

This project taught us:

  • How to fully leverage Bolt.new’s ecosystem to ship products quickly and cleanly
  • Best practices for integrating Stripe within serverless, multi-tenant architectures
  • How to use Google’s Jules agent to accelerate development cycles and improve code accuracy
  • How to manage complex media libraries and AI workflows without overcomplicating the user experience
  • The power of combining no-code and low-code platforms like Make.com and n8n to automate heavy backend processes

  • Building flexible pricing tiers and customized enterprise options
  • Exploring deeper integrations with existing creator tools to make Coconut Create the go-to hub for content generation and asset management
