Inspiration To improve coal mine safety and productivity by digitizing shift handovers and aligning operations with DGMS guidelines.

What it does It provides a digital platform for shift handovers, real-time data tracking, incident reporting, and production monitoring through interactive dashboards.

How we built it Using the MERN stack (React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB), we built a full-stack application with real-time features and compliance-focused modules.

Challenges we ran into Understanding DGMS safety protocols and modeling real-time mining operations into a user-friendly system was challenging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of Successfully created a system that mirrors real-world mining workflows and enhances both safety and accountability through digitization.

What we learned Deepened our understanding of safety compliance in industrial settings and improved our skills in building real-time, full-stack applications.

What's next for Coal Mine Management System We aim to integrate IoT sensor data, enable offline logging for remote areas, and onboard actual industry stakeholders for pilot testing.
