CO2 Extinguishers

We watched a video about how cities like New Jersey were being affected by CO2, and we wanted to figure out a way to do something about it.

The filters take in CO2, filter out calcium carbonate(you'll see why), and release O2 into the air.

We didn't build it, but we thought that we needed some way to get rid of the CO2 but also getting something out of it.

We didn't have a way of filtering out the carbon part of the O2, because carbon was the element keeping the compound together, so by doing more research and asking for help, we figured out that we need to filter out the calcium carbonate instead.

One thing we are proud of is getting this done in 3 days

When we started this, we didn't really have a lot ideas, but once we really bunkered down and thought about how climate change affects a lot of people in different ways, the ideas came rushing in.

We recently found out that there is a compound that has yet to be discovered that can actually solve this problem in a better way, so who knows what might lie in our futures.
