Inspiration

We wanted to tackle the issues of climate change and were also inspired by Deloitte's missions to achieve net-zero carbon emissions.

What it does

Helps individuals to keep track of their carbon footprint and helps encourage net zero emissions, alongside showing plots and tracking past days of one's carbon footprint.

How we built it

Using python with the possible help of SQL and Cockroach DB

Challenges we ran into

Implementing python and Cockroach DB. Not enough time to implement some features.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Making a program that can have a huge positive impact on our planet

What we learned

We learned to create a Python GUI, manage a web DB (CockroachDB), and utilized github to cooperate remotely.

What's next for CO2 Emissions Tracker

Further expansions and more accurate tracking. Increasing ways to track as well. Implementing achievements and challenges to encourage a low CO2 emission.
