With Ai we bridged the gap between patient treatment, doctor search, copay estimates, insurance verifications and discounts to the fingertips of people without having to leave their home.
The Inspiration for me that started this was having a doctors appointment at a specialist but I couldn’t remember my copay.
What it does-the site allows users to simply input information to gather what they need before going to the doctor and it uses geolocation to assist the user/patient so they get more accurate information regarding specialists in their area, pharmacies offering discounts and drugs that the ai found at a discounted rate. Within the framework users can do cost comparisons with pharmacies, medical care, and even find doctors who offer Teledoc. This can do it all and Yes it does what goodrx can. The idea is this equips people and bridges the gap allowing ai to help ordinary people with a few inputs and ai embedded prompts. Finally there is room for doctors to even accept crypto currency if they want because that saves them transactions fees as well so it acts as a payment portal after the doctors visit if a patient wallet is present.
How we built it- I built it using only Ai commands
Challenges we ran into- getting the web version and mobile to meet in the middle and connecting healthcare providers with our users. On top of that I had to gather as much information from healthcare companies to allow users to get a quote and verify their insurance as close to accurate as possible.
Accomplishments that we're proud of- we are proud that the app delivers real time data with geolocation
What we learned - not all commands within the framework wanted to work but moved around we could get the data to reflect the information the patient puts in.
What's next for Co-Pay Rx- An app and solid payment solution to pair with doctor patient experience so we can bridge the gap between crypto and healthcare.
