Inspiration
Within months, COVID-19 went from an epidemic to a pandemic. From the first identified case in December 2019, the virus spread so fast and widely all across the globe. As of 19 August 2020, more than 21.9 million cases have been reported across 188 countries and territories, resulting in more than 777,000 deaths. More than 13.9 million people have recovered.
Therefore, in the light of what’s going on, I have decided to build a project to find a solution for the same.
What it does
The goal of this project is to provide a simple, interactive way to educate people about the impact of COVID-19 and help them through it . I want people to be able to see this as something that brings us all together. It's not one country, or another country; it's one planet – and this is what our planet looks like today.
How I built it
I build it on visual studio code by using HTML5,CSS,JavaScript , JSON and Php.
Challenges I ran into
I had trouble during with the use of API and in php programming ,which I sorted out using stack overflow and other similar sources .
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I aimed at bringing a positive change in the way people think ( that is make them cautious and not panicky ) far as this with pandemic situation is concerned through my project and i think i achieved it to some extend.
What I learned
I learned a lot in this hack from the workshop by echo AR as well as during the time while I build the project as I was motivated to learn something new. In addition, I made some friends .
What's next for CO-HELP-VID
The next step for CO-HELP-VID will be to build a interactive platform to ease people in treatment . For example , if someone is in need of plasma therapy one can use this platform to do the same.
