Inspiration

As busy CMU students, we often find it hard to keep track of our homework assignments and midterms. Therefore, we implemented an to-do list app with special CMU features.

What it does

This iOS app is a to-do list with add, delete, edit, and complete functions, as well as emoji showing the status of completeness.

How we built it

We learned swift language from the beginning with online tutorials and Youtube videos, and worked on the project with Xcode with the reference of another implementation of to-do list. link

Challenges we ran into

We found it hard to understand most of the grammars for UIkit, and we failed to implement the image-related functions.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We learned the basics of swift language within one day and implemented a functioning app.

What we learned

We learned about basic swift grammars and Xcode project structure. The project also inspired our interest in future study in swift.

What's next for CMU To-Do List

We want to implement a course calendar feature so that users can access the course schedule on that day conveniently. We also want to beautify our interface with images like scotty dog icons dropping down after completing an event.
