CMU Office Hours

Inspiration

Office hours are often buried in syllabuses and teacher websites. It can be hard to find out when and where your teachers are when you need help. So, we built a website that allows the user to search by teacher or class and create a personal Google Calendar of their teacher's office hours.

What it does

It allows the user to search for their teacher or class and returns the office hours. The user can choose to add the office hours to their personal google calendar.

What's next for CMU Office Hours

Add a crowd-source element to find office hours. Add a function where teachers can submit a temporary change to their weekly office hours. Add a messaging function to easily contact teachers. Add a function where students can sign up for specific office hours, to give teachers a general idea of how many people to expect.
