Clutch

Inspiration: One of our teammates was in the self-quarantine mode for 2 weeks in April. He had a lot of trouble getting the groceries due to the lack of home delivery service in Indian stores. We got inspiration from them.

What it does: It helps people who are stuck in lockdown and are on a self-quarantine. It will help in flattening the curve for COVID-19

How we built it: We used React.JS for the web-app, firebase to power the backend, and firebase to manage the database. We hosted our site on google cloud and managed the code merging using GitHub.

Challenges: We ran into various challenges were everywhere other than initiating projects. Managing GitHub itself was an issue, we ran into the issue of merging code into different branches which turned into a bottleneck. And then react had its own issues while building components.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We tried to build something for our community and we are proud of it. We always think about creating meaningful and impact society in a positive way.

What we learned: Usage of the firebase and in-depth knowledge of React.

What's next for Clutch!: Since we've built a model that is open for the public and scalable, people can use it and benefit from it.
