Inspiration

Its about a story about a young student in community college who transferred to a university, wished for a service that can help students to find the organization they like to engage more.

What it does

Firstly, the user will walk through a questionnaire about their learning and their interests, and lastly their ethnicity. Secondly, the AI analyzer will take those inputs and give the students the interests and the best organization that they may like the most. Another thing about this technology we also allows transparency of all clubs. To be available to the knowledge of students. As they decide what kind of journey they want to pursue. An AI chatbot is also available to help students become more decisive in their decision-making.

How we built it

We set a Vite and React program for the main page, and the functionality has been built with JavaScript and Express. We also used Google Gemini 2.5 Flash and MongoDB for developing the AI analyzer and the database entry for visitors checking our website. Our website is being hosted by a GoDaddy registry domain and we used Render hosting backend services for Gemini and MongoDB

Challenges we ran into

For the AI technology we were opting to build with PostgreSQL, we were opting for a smaller use case with no SQL for local college students. So that changes our infrastructure, which makes it easier to build.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We learned to build with AI and see how web development communicates with backend code. To then develop a full-stack application with AI. This is our very first-time using Gemini and MongoDB as the main parts of our build. We love our website.
