Inspiration: As a freshmen, I faced difficulties in navigating club events and information as flyers becomes difficult to know the date of events. So I wanted an application which would keep all the information of the clubs, annoucements, and easy access to the timetable.

What it does: it helps students access club, NYIT announcements, and timetable

How we built it: with the help of netbeans compiler options to design the jframe I built an app which opens image files or videos of various clubs, committee and timetable in any format by accessing a google drive

(for this program i used my personal googled drive) so that it is easier to upload files by various clubs or groups.

Challenges we ran into: I couldn't complete the entire program in time because most of the time was used by developing the logic and we ran into the challenge where we had to figure out a way where only nyit students could access to the app so we used google drive that solves the problem.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: I was able to develop the logic and the gui part of the program faster than excepted and make sure a demo was ready for the hackathon.

What we learned: debugging errors becomes difficult under pressure situations and systematic development of the logic is the most efficient way of programming.

What's next for CLUBHUB: will be working finishing the application and make it available for mobiles devices as well so that every student can access it within seconds and with ease.
