Inspiration

With all the clubs and organizations that we are part of and events that we needed to go to, we kept having to double check with posts and flyers from Instagram, GroupMe, and Slack to ensure our calendars were updated. This left us feeling overwhelmed and unorganized, especially during the beginning of college. This project solves our problem and keeps our events organized.

What it does

Our project scans posts and flyers from organizations you follow and adds them to your calendar of choice.

How we built it

We used OCR. We tried implementing our project with Meta and Apify for data, but ended up not using Meta. We decided on using Snowflake, which saves the data even after refreshing the page.

Challenges we ran into

We had difficulty implementing the API and coming up with ideas.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made a working product!

What we learned

We learned more about coding and what it is like to create an app.

What's next for CLUBCAL

Making it more broad and usable for the general public.
