What it does
Allows user to take care of a virtual pet penguin while doing homework.
How we built it
We split up work so that part of our team worked on the GUI, and part of our team worked on creating the implementation for running the app. We connected the two components through a single shared class.
Challenges we ran into
We did not have a good idea of how to start, and ended up scrapping a lot of our work. In the future, it would be useful to have a clearer idea of what end product we wanted and what frameworks we wanted to use to get there. Having a better understanding of how to integrate github would have also been useful.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to make a functioning app with GUI.
What we learned
It is important to have a clear idea of what we want our end-product to be, and how to get there.
