What it does
Cryptea enables businesses to accept Cryptocurrency as a method of payment, in the easiest way possible.
How we built it
Cryptea was built using TypeScript and Nextjs as its primary languages. We made use of TailwindCSS for some of our stylings and used Solidity for our contracts.
We made use of NextJS as our framework of choice, having gained some experience with it. This was an easy choice, as developing on the blockchain is easier with the framework. We complimented the front end with libraries and packages which simplified our work; some of them include Wagmi, ethers, and a host of others. For styling, we went ahead with TailwindCSS, and a bit of custom CSS to complement it.
Over on the backend, we worked our way through with Solidity for the contracts, which enable everything. This helped us with the heavy lifting, on the Blockchain, and its interface. To complement this, we wrote a couple of scripts with Laravel and Javascript, to enable the smooth running of the project.
What's next for Cryptea
We have a carefully laid out roadmap, and this includes working on the project full-time, coming out of stealth mode, acquiring users, and serving the populace at large; doing our part to ensure the widespread use of the Blockchain technology. Over the next few months, we aim to perfect our features, work on our integrations, and fix all necessary bugs, while receiving feedback from users and potential users. Hopefully, we also gain access to an accelerator, or win a grant, from Fantom. This would steer us on the right path, and give us the right momentum we need to operate.
