Inspiration

Cloudron is a cloud application platform that allows you to create applications with only one click. LHD Day 4 challenge gives the perfect opportunity to test it out.

What it does

Set up an application named FilePizza which provides a safer and faster way to transfer files across devices.

How we built it

Used Linode as the file hosting provider and Cloudron as the cloud application. The best part of cloudron is that it lets users use sub-domains for their individual applications! Firstly I set up a linode, and connected it to a domain name. Then we set-up cloudron in linode and launched the application by giving the right domain name and api keys(provided by linode). Finally, I chose an application from the huge list available on cloudron app-store and built my first cloudron-application!

Challenges we ran into

getting a free domain name was a huge challenge. setting up nameservers.
