Inspiration
The astonishing incidence of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in both the United States, with roughly 3.3 million diagnosed children, and globally, with an estimated 129 million children, highlights the critical need for innovative solutions. These statistics serve as great motivation for us to produce an app specifically to aid individuals (particularly children) with ADHD. Our mission is to provide full assistance, using technology and artificial intelligence (AI), to improve the lives and prospects of people affected with ADHD, allowing them to overcome problems and improve their focus.
What it does
Our application is called 'Cloudless Space.' It is designed to empower users, particularly those with ADHD, by enhancing accountability through account sharing with trusted individuals like parents or teachers, enabling periodic activity monitoring. It employs AI-based bots to detect and report distractions, ensuring timely task completion. Moreover, it offers various tasks to improve focus, manage overwhelming tasks, and employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques for fostering positive thinking and increased confidence in managing ADHD symptoms, providing a comprehensive solution for individuals seeking to better manage their challenges.
How we built it
We chose to utilize Figma, a powerful design tool, to craft the user interface and user experience of the application.
Challenges we ran into
As beginners in using Figma, we encountered several problems. Some of its functions were initially confusing, but through research, experimentation, and teamwork, we gradually overcame most of these obstacles by experimenting around.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating 'Cloudless Space' has given us great insights into the unique issues that people with ADHD face, as well as the potential of technology to address these challenges successfully. We've gained a better understanding of the effect that our software can have on the lives of people with ADHD, enhancing the commitment that we have to make a difference in their everyday lives and provide them a long-term success.
What we learned
Through our use of Figma, we've learned that it not only improved our design skills but also gave us profound knowledge into the special difficulties that people with ADHD face, helping us to recognize their needs and reaffirming our commitment to develop solutions that truly make a difference.
What's next for CloudlessSpace
Our vision for "Cloudless Space" is to constantly develop and improve our artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to detect distractions even more precisely while also enhancing the app's capabilities to provide customized treatments and suggestions based on each user's particular ADHD profile. Additionally, we hope to create a vibrant user community where users may exchange stories, advice, and emotional support, transforming 'Cloudless Space' into a healthy society that enables people with ADHD to succeed in their academic, personal, and professional lives.
