Inspiration

  • People do many projects, jobs, hackathons, and achievements, but cannot fit everything into one resume.
  • Every job needs a different version of your resume based on the role.
  • Tailoring resumes manually for every application takes too much time.

What it does

  • Stores your complete career context: projects, achievements, skills, work experience, and metrics.
  • Uses the job description to generate a tailored resume and check ATS relevance.
  • Tracks applications, replies, interviews, and rejections in one place.

How we built it

  • Built CloudCoffee around WebMCP so AI agents like Codex can interact with the application.
  • The agent can read career context, create resumes, and manage applications.
  • The web app provides resume, ATS, career, and application management.

Challenges we ran into

  • Structuring messy career information so AI can understand it.
  • Finding the right experience for a job instead of simply matching keywords.
  • Designing WebMCP tools that AI agents can use reliably.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Built more than a normal AI resume generator by storing the user's full career context.
  • Connected the workflow with AI agents through WebMCP.
  • Combined resume generation, ATS checking, and application tracking in one product.

What we learned

  • AI becomes much more useful when it remembers your previous work and achievements.
  • Most people have valuable career experiences that never appear on their resume.
  • Structured career context helps AI create much better job-specific resumes.

What's next for CloudCoffee

  • Help users automatically look for jobs, tailor resume and cover letter and apply for jobs automatically.
  • Improve ATS analysis, interview preparation, and application analytics.
  • Make CloudCoffee a complete career context layer for AI agents.
