Inspiration
In the era of smartphones and social media, we constantly have access to an infinite amount of ideas. We are constantly getting more aspirations and new goals as the world advances. However, our attention spans are only growing smaller by the day. When we set out to do something, whether that is build a coding project or achieve a fitness goal, we easily become distracted and off track if the path to reach our destination is immediately unclear. We become demotivated and give up far too quickly as a result. This is why we've built CloudChaser, a tool that can help guide individuals towards turning their dreams into reality step by step and unlock their potential.
What it does
CloudChaser allows users to achieve their dreams. The user enters their objective, and generates steps on how to achieve this dream.
How we built it
Animations: Objects (Cloud, stars, rocket) were created in Blender, imported into Spline to add animations, and integrated into the homepage. Frontend: We used React to create the webpages. Backend:express
Challenges we ran into
Animations: It was my first time using animations on a webpage. It required a lot of research and tutorial watching to get it to work. Frontend: Visuals Backend: Integrating Gemini AI
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were a team who joined together at the team formation this morning. We are very proud of how well we worked together as a team. We shared our skills to help one another to succeed in our plans to create this project from scratch.
What we learned
We learnt how to create animations and use them in a website.
What's next for CloudChaser
We would like to add an option to allow the user to choose:
- Choose how detailed/ how many steps they would like.
- Have a deadline option that sets an expected date for completion. This would help the user plan to achieve the deadline of their goal.
