Inspiration
We wanted something tactile and Halloween-ey. It would have been efficient to just open a chat window, but if someone can respond by moving a wireless Ouija board puck, that seems like a fun coffee table adornment.
What it does
Someone will post their question to the Internet, and answers will "display" as the puck moves around the spirit board.
How we built it
So far, the concept is to move a magnet underneath a Ouija board. It will have to be controlled by a Wifi controller, perhaps and ESP32 or RasPi.
Challenges we ran into
Coming up with a name.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting a team together at the 11th hour.
What we learned
Never miss IoTHackDay. That is the path of regret.
What's next for Cloud Ouija
Integration with home assistants like Amazon Echo or Google Home.
