Inspiration
As a team, we really wanted to make a relaxing game that wasn't too difficult to play. We want people playing the game to enjoy themselves and relax.
What it does
This is a version of the game snake that has the player play as a cloud in the sky collecting clouds. Each time a player collects a cloud their collection of clouds gets longer. If they collide with any rain on the screen they lose a cloud. In addition, if their collection of clouds collide with itself then they go back to having one cloud. The game ends if the player has no clouds left.
How we built it
This is a python pygame build.
Challenges we ran into
This was the first time many of us had coded and the first time any of us had used pygame. It was a great learning experience for those on the team who had not coded before!
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We love the design of the game and we are proud of how beautiful it looks while you play it!
What we learned
Some of us learned python for the first time while others discovered the pygame library for the first time!
What's next for CloudCollector
We are happy with our creation and plan to all move forward with a broadened skillset.
