What it does

This is a mobile application UI prototype based on figma. There are 3 main components is this prototype.

  1. Giving information on clothing and their material sustainability
  2. Cloth scanner, where the application would track the clothing tag and give sustainability information based on the tag text.
  3. A marketplace where the users are able to buy or sell clothing items (that they can manually add or use the clothing scan). The marketplace is created to promote sustainable clothing.

How I built it

I built the prototype using figma (a web-based editor that is used mainly for UI/UX prototype).

Challenges I ran into

Gathering the initial idea was hard, since they are alot of similar idea already published out there. Trying to be unique with adding a bunch of new smaller idea can make the building process more complicated.

Doing a solo project can be tough especially with a time constraint

Accomplishments that I'm proud of & what I learned

Designing an UI with both developer and user perspective can be quite challenging since they are alot of factors to be considered. I'm happy that I'm able to produce a minimum viable product or prototype in this case within a short period of time (although not perfect). UI/UX is really important to visualise whats your end product would look like.
