Inspiration:

Heartbreak can hit like a tidal wave — and most mental health apps don't feel personal or immediate enough in those moments. Closure AI was born from the desire to offer comfort, clarity, and emotional support using voice-first AI. We wanted to create a tool that feels more like a friend than an app — something you reach for when you don’t have the words or strength to explain how you feel.

What it does:

Closure AI is a voice-guided emotional healing companion. Users can:

Speak or write their thoughts into a Capsule

Receive compassionate or tough-love AI feedback in real-time via ElevenLabs voice

Choose their preferred support vibe (Therapist, Bestie, Tough Love)

Track emotional patterns through Heartprint (an AI-powered mood tracker)

Save and replay wisdom quotes that resonate

Access a daily dose of AI-generated affirmations and healing prompts The app is mobile-first, distraction-free, and 100% privacy-focused — no accounts, no cloud storage.

How we built it

Platform: Built entirely using Bolt.new, optimized for mobile-first design

Voice AI: Integrated ElevenLabs Conversational AI for real-time voice responses

Data: Supabase powers the backend storage for capsules, quotes, and heartprint logs(disabled uses user device storage

Monetization: RevenueCat integration (not active) for unlocking premium features like multiple capsules and quote saving, it was set in place for future scaling once my LLC is registered

Design: Gradient UI, calming layout, and bottom tab navigation ensure an accessible and emotionally safe experience

Architecture: Zero backend complexity — all logic is handled client-side to preserve user privacy

Challenges we ran into:

Keeping the UI consistent without Bolt.new’s prompt system auto-resetting or overwriting prior work

Audio issues with voice playback repeating unexpectedly in certain modes

Finding the right emotional tone for the AI assistant — we wanted it to feel human, not robotic

Balancing feature richness with simplicity to avoid overwhelming users in emotional distress

Setting up Supabase and RevenueCat integrations within a no-code environment required creative prompt engineering

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

Built an emotionally intelligent voice app from scratch in under two weeks

Fully functional ElevenLabs voice agent integrated into the front-end

Clean, consistent UX with mobile-first layout and calming design

Invented the “Heartprint Tracker” — a new way of visualizing daily emotional data

Created a working paywall and promo system, with judge unlock access and growth potential

What we learned:

How to build emotional AI experiences, not just functional ones

That building with a single-prompt mindset requires extreme clarity and scoped thinking

How to troubleshoot voice API latency and audio UX flow

Deeper understanding of product-market fit for emotionally vulnerable users
