We were inspired by the common problem of messy and unorganized closets in small living spaces. Many people struggle with space management and efficient storage. We wanted to design a smart and practical solution that improves organization while maintaining a modern look.
What it does ClosetCraft helps users design and organize closets efficiently. It focuses on smart space utilization, customizable compartments, and aesthetic design. The project provides a structured layout to reduce clutter and improve accessibility. How we built it We started by analyzing storage problems and user needs. Then we designed a structured closet layout with optimized sections for clothes, accessories, and essentials. We created a simple prototype/model using design tools and planned compartments based on real-life usage. Challenges we ran into One major challenge was balancing storage capacity with design simplicity. Space constraints required careful planning. We also faced difficulty in optimizing compartments for different user needs. Accomplishments that we're proud of We successfully designed a functional and space-efficient closet model. The layout is practical, user-friendly, and adaptable. We are proud that our solution addresses real-world storage problems effectively. What we learned We learned about space planning, user-centered design, and practical problem-solving. This project improved our creativity, planning skills, and understanding of functional design. What's next for ClosetCraft We plan to enhance ClosetCraft by adding digital 3D visualization and customization features. In the future, we aim to develop it into a complete smart storage solution with technology integration.
