Inspiration

We thought that the currently available irrigation solutions can be combined with the weather forecast APIs to manage the irrigation process more efficiently. AI and IoT can help farmers to revolutionize how they irrigate their fields. It can help save water and energy as well as the cost.

What it does

It has all the basic functions of the automatic irrigation system available right now in the market but what's most interesting and different about our project is it Geathers the weather data from open source weather APIs and analyses the raining conditions, humidity, moisture, and pressure etc. on a particular day and calculates the requirements of the water for the given crop for a particular type of soil. It also alerts the farmers about the drastic weather conditions early. The app uses Machine Learning to become better over time. It has all the basic monitoring IoT devices to manage the work automatically.

How we built it

So We are presenting here only an Idea because our knowledge in coding is just developing as we're freshers right now. But we've greater plans about the project near future. So cheers!

Challenges we ran into

It was really challenging for us to find a better way to revolutionize the currently available irrigation system.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We've got a Unique Idea of implementing the weather data to resolve the problem of irrigation for different types of crops for a particular soil.

What we learned

We've got an amazing experience to work as a team and help each other. The project developed our thinking and reasoning skills.

What's next for Closed Loop Automated Irrigation by Logic Geeks

We are new to programming right now but we're so ambitious in this field. we'll add more features to this system soon We are also planning to make this project unique and authentic using AI, it can help reduce the hardware required in the project as well as the cost. Our main focus is to make it easy, affordable and efficient way to irrigate the fields.
