Inspiration

The amount of people who are visually impaired and unable to do simple everyday tasks where astonishing. After I figured out about this, I knew I wanted to create a app to help with this.

What it does

There are 3 main parts. The first is to detect how far an object is in a straight line distance away from you. The second is to describe a scene where you are. The 3rd is to read signs that people are unable to see.

How we built it

We built the design of the app using Figma.

Challenges we ran into

Incorporating big buttons so that people don't misclick while also keeping the UI looking nice and incorporating as many buttons as I needed.

How useful I believe this idea would be.

What we learned

I learned about Figma for the first time and how to use it.

What's next for CloseCall

The next step would be to create a code for this app and implement the AI models like copilot into the app.
