Inspiration

The app by Jack Dorsey allows people to chat without any internet.. but the UI is pretty blown and does not allow for the very thing users are asking for file sharing, voice calling or just chatting with an interface the people are used to

What it does

Allows for all chat features between people beyond 100m radius by bluetooth

How we built it

Used Kotlin multiplatform to allow for iOS and android integration. As for the reach we used the network mesh logic by Jack Dorsey app as a foundation..

Challenges we ran into

Voice calling beyond 2 people and message relays for cases where the message does hop from one device to another but fails to hit the intended user... right now it simply sleeps till it reaches the user otherwise it get's deleted and a second attempt is done. UI that matches platforms... Local AI generation finding models that are android and iOS ready are many but only like 2 can actually work... had to try all of them before finding the right candidate.. they are also very huge
