Inspiration - I got my inspiration from watching futuristic and Si-Fi movies as well as my love for space.
What it does - This world is a never ending challenge of obstacles with one mission, get the generator before the walls close in on you. Each player who comes in gets to choose what level they would like to play that day or can stay and play them all. A new level will be added every week.
How we built it - I built this by combining trimesh shapes, pictures and custom 3D model imports and a lot of imagination. Worked on the project using a mix of my VR headset and my computer.
Challenges we ran into - I ran into a few challenges along the way. Most of them were around functionality for the game to play smooth from both devices.
Accomplishments that we're proud of - I'm most proud of figuring out how to make a game that will keep players coming back to play new challenges. I'm also very proud of what I've learned on the Mobile end all that I'll be able to create moving forward.
What we learned - I learned so much about Blender, Mobile and game design. I aim to continue growing my knowledge so my future creations are even greater than this project.
What's next for Close Call - I have a lot in store for close call. With new levels and challenges being created every week the sky is the limit.
