Inspiration

We noticed how many clothes remain unused in our closets while countless people lack proper clothing. This inspired us to create a platform that connects generosity with real impact — making donating simple, transparent, and rewarding.

What it does

Clos8 enables users to donate unused clothes directly to verified NGOs. It tracks donations, shows how much space you’ve freed, and displays how many people benefited — turning clutter into change.

How we built it

We designed Clos8’s interface using Figma, focusing on an intuitive user experience. The app structure includes onboarding, donation flow, NGO selection, impact statistics, and profile management screens.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was designing a flow that keeps donation effortless yet meaningful. We also worked on making the impact visualization engaging and easy to understand for users.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of creating a seamless, user-friendly design that promotes sustainability and social good, along with an innovative impact tracker that motivates users to give more.

What we learned

We learned the importance of simplicity, empathy, and designing for impact — not just functionality.

What's next for CLOS8

Next, we plan to develop the full application, integrate NGO databases, add pickup scheduling, and launch community challenges to encourage consistent donations. We also intend to provide volunteering opportunities for users, through which they can earn a certificate authorised by the NGOs
