Inspiration

📌 Inspiration CloneMe.Cloud was inspired by a moment from Man of Steel (2013), where Superman interacts with a preserved digital projection of his father, Jor-El. That scene showed how powerful it could be to speak with a digital version of someone long gone — one that remembers, teaches, and connects.

We asked ourselves: What if anyone could create their own “Jor-El” – a digital avatar that lives on? CloneMe.Cloud makes that possible — giving individuals the ability to preserve their voice, face, memories, and personality through an interactive AI avatar.

What it does

🤖 What It Does CloneMe.Cloud lets you: Upload a short voice clip and photo. Generate a realistic 3D avatar. Infuse the avatar with your knowledge, memories, and personality. Interact with your AI clone through natural conversation. Preserve your digital essence for future generations. It's like a living memory capsule — not just storing data, but being present.

How we built it

🛠️ How We Built It Voice Cloning: ElevenLabs API + emotional TTS fallback. Avatar Rendering: 3D face mapping using Ready Player Me and real-time animation (D-ID style). Conversational Core: GPT-4 powered agent with contextual memory using Vector DB. Frontend: React + Three.js for live avatar interaction. Backend: Python (FastAPI), LLM integration, session management, and memory orchestration. Secure Hosting: Real-time sessions delivered through WebRTC and persistent endpoint APIs.

Challenges we ran into

🧱 Challenges We Ran Into Real-time sync between voice generation and avatar lip movement. Managing latency and UX smoothness when combining LLMs with real-time audio and animation. Creating emotionally intelligent responses that match a person’s unique tone. Ensuring privacy and ownership in identity cloning (ethical concerns). Designing a UI/UX that feels futuristic but remains intuitive.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

🏆 Accomplishments That We're Proud Of Building a working MVP with full avatar conversation support in under 48 hours. Achieving realistic personality emulation and voice sync. Creating an onboarding experience that feels personal, not technical. Sparking powerful emotional reactions from early testers — proof that digital presence can feel human.

What we learned

📚 What We Learned People don’t just want to be remembered — they want to be known. The combination of face, voice, and memory creates an intense emotional resonance. Prompt engineering and memory tuning are key to building believable AI personas. Responsiveness and pacing are critical when dealing with human likenesses.

What's next for CloneMe.Cloud | Meet Your AI Clone Studio

🔮 What's Next for CloneMe.Cloud | Meet Your AI Clone Studio Mobile version for seamless avatar onboarding and access. Legacy Mode to gift your avatar to family or friends in encrypted memory capsules. Custom Training Studio where users can teach their avatar key moments, stories, and ideas. Voice Emotions API to reflect mood and tone in real time. Ethics Dashboard to let users control and revoke access, protect identity, and monitor usage. We envision CloneMe.Cloud as the standard for digital self-preservation — where your voice, your face, your mind, and your story lives on forever.

Update from Lawrence – Very, Very Cool Tool :)

Wow — what a journey this hackathon has been. I had a ton of fun working alongside Glenda on CloneMe.Studio, and exploring the power of the BOLT tool throughout the process. Being able to generate structured solutions, deploy with confidence, and focus on creativity instead of boilerplate was a refreshing experience.

Massive thanks to the BOLT and Devpost teams for making this event possible. The support, toolset, and structure you provided helped bring our vision to life in record time.

A special shoutout to the Dev Team — amazing job on the platform. As we look forward to what’s next, here are a few ideas that could make the experience even more seamless:

Auto-handling of large project file/folder structures – to support more complex solution generation without needing workarounds.

Persistent input caching – ensuring anything typed in the input area is always stored/submitted correctly (we had a few near heart attacks :)

Default statistics and site content – newly generated solutions should auto-populate with real defaults (e.g., instead of 5000 users, 50gig Free Storage; < 5000 users, 1Mb Free Storage ) to avoid any chance of loosing trust with potential site viewers.

An in-browser text editor – this would make quick edits and content iterations feel more natural and fluid.

Integrated testing suite – having built-in support for running basic tests would bring a whole new level of confidence to generated solutions.

Again, huge appreciation to everyone who made this event possible. We can’t wait to see how BOLT continues to evolve — and we’re looking forward to building even more in the future.

What an incredible experience! Participating in the BOLT Hackathon was not only creatively energizing, but also just plain fun. Using the BOLT tool to bring our ideas to life was a blast — we loved how intuitive and empowering it was to iterate quickly and see results in real time.

A huge thank you to the entire BOLT and Devpost team for putting together such a welcoming and inspiring event. The tools, community, and support made it so easy to stay motivated and push our project further than we imagined.

We’re proud of what we built with CloneMe.Studio, and even more excited about where it can go next. Thanks again to everyone who helped make this hackathon so special!
