Inspiration ClockOn was created to simplify workforce management for businesses, focusing on payroll, time tracking, and compliance.
What it does ClockOn is a SaaS platform that offers features like time & attendance tracking, payroll automation, roster management, award interpretation, and an employee self-service portal.
How I built it Built using technologies like ReactJS, Node.js, MySQL, and mobile frameworks Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android), ClockOn integrates cloud services for scalability and security.
Challenges I ran into Challenges included ensuring platform scalability, maintaining compliance with regulations (like STP), and balancing complex features with a simple user interface.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of Proud of achieving STP compliance, high user adoption, and automating payroll and roster management.
What I learned Learned the importance of cloud infrastructure, user-centered design, and staying compliant with ever-changing regulations.
