Inspiration

We were inspired by the 75% of individuals who often struggle to find collaborators who share their vision and have the necessary skills for their projects. We have attempted to solve a major problem faced by fundraisers, creatives and innovators, lack of funding and support for their pursued projects.

What it does

CLIQUEST is a community-driven platform that enables users to collaborate and work on projects with strangers who share similar interests and goals. Users can create or join teams to work on projects in various categories, such as technology, arts, social causes, and more. The app provides a variety of features to support project collaboration, including a messaging system, task management tools, and file-sharing capabilities. Users can also track project progress and performance using analytics and reporting tools. In addition, the app offers a range of resources to support project success, including mentorship programs, networking opportunities, and access to funding and other resources from investors. The app is designed to foster a sense of community and encourage collaboration among users, while also providing a platform for innovative projects to thrive. Whether users are looking to develop their skills, pursue a passion project, or make a positive impact on their community, our app provides the tools and resources to help them achieve their goals.

How we built it

Our team collaborated on Figma to create pitches and a functional prototype of the app itself.

Challenges we ran into

As a team with half its members in Canada and half in Indonesia, we ran into trouble scheduling live meeting times as the time zones are very different. However, this turned out to not be as much of an issue as we delegated tasks and found overlapping times to meet.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have come up with an innovative solution to our problem and would be able to help creatives, humanitarians and more find funding and support for their projects.

What we learned

We gained incredibly valuable experience collaborating and communicating internally. We have never worked together before and made connections across the world. We have learned that time zones and unfamiliar team members are not an obstacle to creating an incredible project that could lead to immense social change.
