Inspiration

We wanted to make fun montages quickly

What it does

Creates fun montages according to music beat

How we built it

We built the frontend in React Native and the backend + api in python. The beat detection uses Demcus AI which runs locally.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge we ran into was making everything communicate properly without breaking, especially since we were building different parts separately.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud of how quickly we've built this project from the ground up and how quick the uploading and AI processing is.

What we learned

We learned to focus on critical parts of our code because we have limited time.

What's next for Clipgsm

We're planning on building a montage model with more complexity and integrating it into an existing video capture app we're currently building on the side.
