Inspiration

We enjoyed using Twitch.tv and felt it was difficult to see your followed channels clips and highlights.

What it does

The user can sign in and is shown the top clips from their favorite streamers.

How we built it

We used the T3 stack which uses typescript, next.js, tailwind CSS, tRPC.

Challenges we ran into

We struggled to implement the twitch API into our project. We had trouble pulling the data with the token we had.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The user interface was smooth and well designed. We are glad we were able to get OAuth functions even if we could not pull data.

What we learned

We learned a lot about APIs, using fetch requests, and how OAuth works.

What's next for Clip-Tok

We will continue to work on it and get the API to work. We may add more features in the future as well.
