Clinician Matrix

Inspiration

Nurses often ask to work between different units due to the shortage of nurses. But different units requires different skill sets, making it hard for managers to assign nurses and it creates toxic working environment for nurses.

What it does

Our project will record all nurses skills and how proficient they are, will record what skills each patient needs and if the patient is in critical. Then we have a algorithm to assign each patient to nurses based on the patient's situation and the nurses skills.

How we built it

We are building a web application, using React and Django.

Challenges we ran into

1. Lack people. 2. Not sure how to apply machine learning into the assigning algorithm. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of fully working rest API that have 2 types of uses and an API endpoint for algorithm. ## What we learned How to build an full stack web application from scratch. ## What's next for Clinician Matrix Apply ml to the assigning algorithm, improving the UI.
