Inspiration
We were inspired by the talk given by the ALMAC group and wanted to create something useful for patients.
What it does
This aims to help patients with possible medical conditions search for clinical trials.
How we built it
We made a modern graphical user interface using Python's CustomTkinter module. Moreover, we allow patients to login and save some personal information that they may want to keep confidential. We used MySQL as our database backend. The actual map we got through the MapBox API.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenges were setting up the database as none of us were proficient in that regard. Secondly, using the MapBox API was confusing as we had never used an API before either.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Definitely would be getting the database and MapBox API to work.

What's next for Clinical Trial Connector
- If we had more time, something we would've liked to work on is a messaging section that allows patients to reach out to physicians and clinical trial providers.
