Inspiration
We both have had experience working as clinical research coordinators on clinical trials at major academic research hospitals, and noticed issues with the efficiency of the research, as well as patient experiences in research participation.
- Contact outside of visits is often necessary, and it can be quite cumbersome, for both the participant and the team.
- Patients feel less motivated to participate when they are not provided with much information on the trial. They'd like to know about previous research surrounding the trial, current enrollment, projected timeline / when they could expect the preliminary findings to be published.
What it does
ClinConnect provides a platform for the patient to seamlessly interact with and understand components of the trial, from a general overview to their personal progression, ensuring a more fulfilling experience from participation in research. In addition, our app also facilitates efficient data collection and communication between research team and participants through the use of reminders, direct links to questionnaire loaded into account at necessary timepoints, and a secure AI chatbot that has been trained on study-specific information.
