Project Overview

ClimateProof AI is a web-based environmental data analysis and integrity verification platform designed to help users inspect climate and environmental monitoring datasets. It analyzes uploaded CSV files, identifies data-quality issues and statistical anomalies, calculates SHA-256 file fingerprints, and generates downloadable integrity reports.

Problem Statement

Environmental datasets may contain missing values, duplicate records, invalid measurements, statistical anomalies, or files that have been modified after their original fingerprint was established. These issues can make environmental analysis less reliable and reduce confidence in the data.

Proposed Solution

ClimateProof AI provides a practical workflow for inspecting environmental CSV datasets, identifying potential data-quality problems, and checking whether a file's bytes match an expected SHA-256 hash. Its dashboard makes the results accessible without requiring users to interact directly with the API.

Current Status

A working MVP is deployed online. The dashboard is connected to the live API, and the CSV analysis and hash-verification workflows have been tested.

Important Limitation

A matching SHA-256 hash confirms that the uploaded file's bytes match the supplied expected hash. It does not independently establish the dataset's origin, scientific accuracy, or authenticity. Statistical anomalies are indicators for review, not proof of fraud.
