Inspiration: Wanted to make recycling education fun after seeing how often people mis-sort waste.
What I Learned: Pygame basics (sprites, collisions, game states) Balancing gameplay (time pressure vs. scoring) Common recycling misconceptions
How I Built It: Core Mechanic: Drag trash to correct bins (recyclable/unrecyclable) Assets: Custom sprites, sound effects Scoring: +1 per correct sort, 30-second timer
Challenges: Debugging sticky drag-and-drop Simplifying real-world recycling rules (e.g., greasy pizza boxes)
Future Ideas Add compost/e-waste categories "Learning mode" with item explanations
Impact: Small daily actions → big environmental change. ♻️
