Inspiration

I have been inspired by the synthesis of the different backgrounds and points of view of my team.

What it does

Our project consists of a tracking system, a practical solution, and an analytical solution. This project aims to track environmental issues and create solutions to solve these issues in underresourced communities.

How we built it

The tracking system aims to leverage AI algorithms to track detrimental environmental events and gathers the data for practical and analytical solutions. The practical solution is also an AI system that aims to resolve on the spot the environmental issue detected by the tracking system. The analytical solution uses the tracked data together with additional data provided by the locals to train AI algorithms to gain insights on the patterns of environmental issues and shows effective plots to create awareness of these issues for policymakers, businesses, and researchers.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge we ran into was to make our solution practical without much information on Project Petals.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of coming up with a comprehensive solution that leverages AI in the best possible way.

What we learned

We learned that it is essential to share our opinions because each one of them adds something to the final idea and improves it.

The intersection of funding this project with the tools needed for the tracking system.
