Climate Climaxes was created to make learning about environmental issues easier and more interesting. Many people hear about climate change, endangered wildlife, and ocean pollution, but it can be hard to understand how these problems affect the planet and communities around the world.
To help, we built a single-page app that collects documentaries and videos about these topics. Users can browse by category — Climate, Wildlife, or Oceans — and explore each topic interactively. The app uses a custom JSON structure to store content and pulls dynamic images via an API to make the experience more engaging.
The goal of this project is to raise awareness and inspire action by giving people clear, visual, and accessible information about the world’s most pressing environmental challenges. In the future, we plan to add more content, user accounts, and personalized recommendations to make learning even more interactive and impactful.
