Climate Change Awareness

Inspiration

When I traveled to India last year, something I noticed was the heavy air density and the pollution. I've been to India many times, but only noticed the heavy air that last visit. I decided to do some research and learned about air pollution and how it effects global warming. I looked into ways to stop air pollution and started to implement them at home. However, one lone person won't be enough to stop this. I hope that this website finds not only the judges well but others out their curious about climate change just like I was.

What it does

The website I build is a simple infographic page that provides insight on where climate change comes from and how to stop it.

How I built it

I used my prior knowledge of VS Code and combined that with CSS, Java script, and HTML to create the website

Challenges I ran into

I didn't know how to make a separate page at first, but after hours of trial and error + google, I figured it out.

It was hard not being on a team, but in the end everything worked out

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Proud of committing myself to a long and tiring project, especially during a busy Junior Year

What I learned

Besides learning more in depth coding and how to make separate pages, I learned more about climate change while doing research, like the number of people it effected and how global warming is a continuous loop that needs everyone to stop.
