Our website allows for people to search the world, city by city, and analyze the effects of climate change each city is facing currently as well as the problems that will arise in the future. The homepage has the world map of selected cities that data has been attained for (more cities will be added over time). By clicking on the city, the user is taken to a time line of the issues their specific city faces. Some issues include air pollution, the rising of sea level, weather patterns and the individual problems of the city. The inspiration behind this website was to help people understand the severe impact of climate change and hopefully relate to them by analyzing their personal cities. The target user that we are aiming for is everyone on the planet, climate change is a global issue and everyone should be involved in a solution as much as possible. The key feature we are proud of is the timeline presentation of events for each city, it makes the subtle changes over time easily seen to provide a shocking impact upon the user.
