Climate Change Analysis

Inspiration

We were all inspired by our passion for environmental justice, and wanted to analyze climate change within the US.

What it does

Analyzes climate data within the US from 2000 to 2021.

How we built it

Using python packages such as matplotlib, Plotly express, and Sklearn.

Challenges we ran into

Adding zeros to beginning of FIPS codes that automatically got deleted because they were ints.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating interactive data visualizations and accurate linear regression models.

What we learned

That precipitation and temperature rates are increasing in WA.

What's next for Climate Change Analysis

Further analysis using other datasets.
