Inspiration

It was honestly very hard to find a source of inspiration because our team was very limited in terms of skillset. However, we did find some inspiration in looking at past Hackathon projects by searching online.

What it does

The main focus of our website is to really showcase the impact of climate change mainly throughout the United States. It serves as an great source information and brings awareness to the ongoing issue of climate change.

How we built it

We built it using NextJS- TSX

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge we ran into was implementing any initial ideas we had. I would say we had a decent amount of ideas but upon implementation were futile and scrapped. Another challenge we ran into was not giving up as multiple times throughout the event multiple team members wanted to quit.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The accomplishment that we are most proud of is that we didn't quit. We could've easily given up and would not have made anything at all- but we persevered and developed even a simple website.

What we learned

The most important thing we learned is really how Hackathon's work. None of the team members came in thinking we were going to win- especially with no experience and low skillset, but we wanted to experience how a Hackathon would be so that next time we could have the potential to create something extraordinary.
