Inspiration
- Having a team member who is a horticulturist, Prudence Njoki:we decided to capitalize on her idea of poor farming techniques that contribute to rise to in gas emissions and carbon footprint.Educating farmers on what they use was the best approach
What it does
Clima advocates for awareness among local and small farmers .It enriches the farmers with content based information on fertilizer,pesticides and fungicides.
In addition , it also provides data driven intiatives to help solve the farmers local challenges
How we built it
- Clima is built using react and deployed in azure app service .The clima insights are visualized using power bi.The ui-ux was designed by figma
Challenges we ran into
- Access to fertilizer ,fungicides and pesticides data
- Lack of realiable data to provide a conclusive analysis
